Hey all!
My name is Anacely and I volunteered with VILA last summer and am currently teaching the orientation class. I want to say that I was recently reminded of how valuable my summer abroad was in that it helped me to get a job. I used a lot of VILA anecdotes during my interviews and was also able to carry on a long Spanish conversation with my employers due to my practice in Quito.
On another note, I'm getting more and more excited about this years group of volunteers. They are so enthusiastic and smart and open. I think they are going to not only represent VILA well but also grow in the process.
